Exceptional service and cozy atmosphere
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, particularly the warm and inviting ambiance that felt like a retreat after a day of exploring. The staff, especially Aaron, went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, and the room was spacious and well-equipped, although a mini fridge would have really enhanced my experience. Breakfast was delicious, featuring a freshly cooked full English to kickstart my day right.

A Mixed Experience with Room Comfort
The atmosphere in the bar area was lively, and the staff were friendly. I found the room quite chilly during my stay. I recommend confirming breakfast arrangements upon arrival to avoid delays. The local café offered good options but lacked the charm of the pub's menu.

Central village square location, suite with river view, dog-friendly atmosphere
The room lacked adequate heating during my November stay!!! The stairway reeked of uncleanliness and I found alarming notices regarding breakfast without prior concern!!! A mini fridge in the room would also be a nice addition!!!

Fantastic place with awesome staff!
Had a lovely 2-night stay as a solo traveler. The staff were super nice, especially one guy who was really attentive. The room was spacious and comfy, but a mini fridge would’ve been nice. Enjoyed a great dinner at the bar and the breakfast was lush with a freshly cooked full English. Perfect for exploring the village!

great stay with a few minor bumps
We had a suite with a lovely river view. The friendly staff were always happy to recommend local sites to explore.
The pub being shut on Monday and Tuesday limited our options.

we had a lovely stay at kings arms for 3 nights. the pub was closed Monday and Tuesday, so we had the place to ourselves. it’s perfectly located in the village square, which made exploring super easy. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the river view suite was simply stunning. the meal we had on Wednesday was fantastic!
